KENNETH CARROLL CUT HIS TEETH IN JOURNALISM AS AN ART DIRECTOR AND DESIGNER FOR THE FINANCIAL TIMES AND THE SUNDAY TIMES NEWSPAPER AND MAGAZINE. PRIOR TO BECOMING A FOUNDING PARTNER OF CARROLL DEMPSEY AND THIRKELL, HE WORKED IN MANY INDUSTRIES INCLUDING ADVERTISING, FILM, TELEVISION AND FOR MAJOR PUBLISHING HOUSES. AT CDT A MORE MULTI-DISCIPLINED PORTFOLIO EMERGED VIA PRINT AND PACKAGING FOR THE RETAIL TRADE, THE DRINKS AND PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRIES, EXHIBITION GRAPHICS AND CATALOGUES FOR MUSEUMS AND ART GALLERIES. CDT ADDITIONALLY  SPECIALISED IN ANNUAL REPORTS AND INFORMATION GRAPHICS FOR THE CORPORATE SECTOR, MAJOR GLOBAL FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS, GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS AND THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY. CDT ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DESIGN OF THE ORIGINAL INDEPENDENT NEWSPAPER AS WELL AS A CLASSIC REDESIGN OF THE OBSERVER AND THE SCOTSMAN. AFTER CDT HE BEGAN TRADING AS CARROLL ASSOCIATES. HIS PORTFOLIO INCLUDES WORK FOR THE AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION, THE BBC, THE BRITISH FILM INSTITIUTE, THE BRITISH MUSEUM,  HARRODS, M&S, THE NATIONAL TRUST, THE V&A AND BOOK DESIGN FOR MAJOR AND MINOR PUBLISHERS.
